1. Creative period 1968 – 1978: Optical Art pictures
Purely constructivist structural images with optical illusion phenomena, chromatic effects and color shifts. Geometric shapes are cut from pre-fabricated color sheets in order to join them together to form a complete work of art.
2. Creative period 1979 – 2005: Figurative oil paintings and sculptures
The optical effects such as glare and color shifts already used in the optical art pictures are transferred to figurative oil paintings that thematize the intervention of technology in the landscape, the transience of man-made works, as well as the emergence and decay in nature. In the late phase of this creative period, a series of sculptures and installations emerge, often showing surrealistic scenes inspired by well-known fairy tale
